Flash Text Effects Tips

• the only type of text that can become mask is Static Text
• ActionScript does not work on frames masked layer so if your movie doesn't stop at your command, check which layer contains that specific code
• if you want to move a text, include it in a Movie Clip and move it because in this way you will have the possibility to change the content of the text without changing the motion event
• if you have a dynamic text that has to display a value of a variable with a certain font, to avoid any inconvenience (the font might be missing on the users computer) embed the characters (in the Property Panel)
