(8) Coloring the Text
- using mask to color and combine the colors for a text object
- we use the text as a mask and we create 3 masked layers
- on each layer we draw a shape and we give each a different color and transparency
- by using Tween Shape on each masked layer we can stretch, squeeze and change the colors of the shapes witch can also "intersect" (one over the other)
- in the animation the text will be colored as the masked layers and we also have the freedom to chose what part of the text to display
- because it doesn't matter what kind of background we use for the Flash animation, these technique is very useful as part of more complex effects
